Across the mediterrean sea

ACROSS THE SEA is a movement aimed at promoting integration among the younger generations of the Mediterranean, as well as a strong sense of belonging to our common sea. Our activities are carried out annually in close collaboration with the partner associations and with the support of the institutions national and international that since the first edition have decided to collaborate with us. The activities, efforts and commitment of a year of work are crowned with the final conference in Genoa, held at the University of Genoa in June. The first edition of ACROSS THE SEA saw the Ligurian University host the event over three days from 5 to 7 June 2023.

The delegations

Our project was born with the intention to create a space built by and for young people. Involving the new generations in decision-making processes and international dialogues is the key to building a responsible and aware future community. For this reason, the protagonists of Across the Sea are young students (aged 18 to 27) from various Mediterranean countries who, divided into small delegations (2-4 people), have brought the point of view of their country of origin and their knowledge of the topics dealt with in the project work tables.
